User Stories

1 The next generation repository welcomes both human and machine users. As such, the use cases presented below address both of these scenarios. Ideally, users could interact with different repositories more or less in a common manner. Although humans are flexible and can handle diverse user interfaces, uniformity is crucial, when welcoming machine users. Uniform interfaces enable interaction with a plethora of distributed repositories in a standard way, for example, to batch discover content or metadata, or to navigate from one repository resource to another. They support machine tasks such as creating a cross-repository search engine, or collecting resources for preservation or data mining purposes. They also allow the creation of more intelligent tools that improve the experience for human users. Leave a comment on line 1 0
